MRANG is a women only charity supporting women asylum seekers, refugees and their children in the Merseyside area. MRANG has gone through considerable change over the last couple of years and is now entering into an exciting new phase of further expansion and delivery of new services to support even more women. We aim to reduce social isolation and ensure that women asylum seekers or refugees have support and access to much needed services. Over the next few years we will be expanding our outreach programme to ensure that asylum seeking women have access to support services across the North West. We are also working on a national network to connect women to other organisations across the country.
We are in the process of completing a review of our governance and have recognised that we need board members with skills in areas of finance, business development and campaigning.
If you have any of the following and are interested in joining our board then please contact us with your CV:
- Finance management or accounting skills
- Background in developing services/ organisations
- Experience in campaigning
Our board posts are unpaid but we cover travelling expenses to any meetings.
We look forward to hearing from you.
